Proper way in Collecting herbal leaves





                                PROPER WAY IN HARVESTING HERBAL LEAVES

Because of it's effectivity when properly harvest and processed, and cheaper alternative medicine,most of us wants to have their own produced herbal medicine but be careful and follow this simple checking in order to have a good results to your health.
A.First thing to do,select herb plants free from diseases,pest,no chemical or fertilizers sprayed or on adjacent surroundings.
Check  plants on  top and under the leaves for insects and pests,in between young shoots where they sucked and live,and to the soil where they lived and rested.
Water = know the sources of water why plants survived.Do not used herb plants that are near  ordinary and irrigated canals,septic tanks,near waste materials and houses for at least 20 meters away.
Fertilizers/Chemicals = know the history of perimeters of fields,near busy roads,near houses for 50 meters.
Diseases = no crack or swelling of bark and no juices coming out from stem,no discoloration ,no falling of young leaves,no curling of leaves,no yellowing of young leaves.
Healthier plant herbs are look like umbrella shape,dark green and shinier leaves with complete parts of leaf.

B. The best to harvest  herb leaves when about to bloom or at their fruiting stage,do  not harvest herbs plants on their dormancy or at their rest period.
C.If all of the criteria passed ,harvest between 5AM - 7AM for day usage and 5:30pm for night used,to avoid  anti oxidants to evaporate rapidly.
D.As soon as finished harvest,clean and boil at once and used.

E.The boiled herbals will last 3 to 9hours only,do not reused/reboil your herbal leaves,never put  finished product or the leaves inside the refrigerator
 
for tomorrow's  used to avoid occurrence of molds and yeast.
